To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the London Underground,
Penguin Books asked twelve people to write, in 15,000 words or less, a story about London & their experiences of it, inspired by a particular Underground line - hence the different colours.
The 12 authors also chose the illustrations, title and design for the book jacket.
Those participating include Peter York, Camila Batmanghelidjh of charity Kid's Company, William Leith, comic John O'Farrell & Lucy Wadham.
A lovely and totally unique gift for anyone who loves books....and London.
