Paitence

Hi everyone, I just read a blog post on paitence by Jen of Interiors Addict. Check it out if you have a moment. It's so true what she has to say. I even had to comment on her post. She talks about the perfect layered interior taking time to achieve and obviously having the paitence to be able to achieve that. This is something I come across often. Meeting clients that have made rash decisions and got it all wrong and then just stopped buying or trying to decorate because they have virtually given up or are just too afraid to commit to anything in case it didn't work with what they already have.

These are the times when I think the benefit of hiring an Interior Designer can far outweigh the initial cost you would have to pay for that service. Anyway - I won't go on as writing is not really my thing. I just love beautiful interiors and creating beautiful interiors. And I guess this post just struck a chord tonight. Sometimes I try really hard to do things quickly for people because I think it's what they want. I push myself like mad and I don't think it makes for the best design possible. Not, that it's a bad design - but could it be even better? Yes of course - it can always be better.

So while I'm pondering this - here's some lovely layered interiors that probably took a lot of time to put together. Do you think it's worth it? Would you rather wait or have it done immediately?
