When I used to see images like this in holiday brochures etc, I always thought that the colour had been exaggerated and that the sea couldn't possibly be that shade of blue.
During our honeymoon in Antigua however, we rented a car one day in order to explore the island....
we rounded a corner and there was a huge expanse of sea in exactly that exquisite shade of magical turquoise, of a shade that has to be seen to be believed....
but once seen, is never forgotten.
