Decor score! Amazing goods that make great gifts but you'll be keeping for yourself!

Uncommon Goods is an online marketplace that focuses on uniquely and WELL DESIGNED objects, many sustainably produces and handmade. One of my best friends in the whole world used to sell her adorable handmade books through them back when she was focusing on bookmaking.

What I really love about Uncommon Goods, aside from their vision (sustainability, artist support, and partial profit donation to non-profits, is the celebration of creativity and individuality through artisan made products.

Since we just moved into our first home on Saturday (*phew), I am coming up with ideas and wish lists left and right for things I'd like to do with our backyard and home. Click here to see all of the cool stuff they carry. Below are some of the products in the Uncommon Goods Home and Garden section that I have my eye on:

We're in desperate need of planters for our patio area and I love that this one is so attractive and self watering!  Being a farm girl, I always assumed I'd do well with potted plants but I've learned that is not the case.

These birdhouses are adorable and handmade in Pennsylvania.

You can have these pillows customized to represent all the members of your family - including the furry ones!

This is a great gift idea for the more rugged dads out there who still love their tech stuff!

How clever is this doormat?

Love this terrarium!  Reminds me of the days of being an art student and spending classes in nature painting.

Perfect for my window over the kitchen sink

Anything strike your fancy?

Chic and unique gifts from some of my fav. online sources

I'm sure by now most of you have heard of flash sale sites.  I hate to admit that they consume about 15 of my precious minutes almost everyday.  The deals are too good to resist, especially if there is something you've been "needing," or if you have some gifts to check off your list.  Here are finds that would make great gifts this holiday season.

A unique online boutique and a generous coupon code for Decorology readers!

Today I'm introducing a great little online boutique, Lafayette and Rushford, which has graciously offered an amazing 30% discount for all Decorology readers!   Just enter DECOR30 at checkout.

They were also awesome enough to send me a sample product and share my findings with you.   I got to try out the Caldrea Countertop Cleanser in Sea Salt Neroli.  The only other Caldrea product I've used before is there Lavender Pine Hand Lotion, which I really liked (it really lasted a long time too - a little went a long way).  I had high expectations for the countertop cleaner going in and it didn't disappoint.  I actually ended up using the cleaner for everything from cleaning my counters and cabinets to wiping out drawers around my house because the sent was so lovely and the product did such a good job.  The scent also lasts a surprisingly long time.  I could walk in the room where I used the cleaner and still smell neroli up to two days later.  Like the lavender pine hand lotion, a little seems to go a really long way.  Another secret, nothing has gotten my oven temperature knobs as clean as this stuff.  I was surprised, so I looked into the ingredients (which are all natural), and saw the ingredient "birch bark extract, nature's best degreaser."  In summary, the Caldrea Countertop Cleanser in Sea Salt Neroli has a luxurious, therapeutic scent, is derived from plant-derived, natural cleaning ingredients, and best of all, works.

The pretty package design is a nice bonus too!

Here are other Lafayette and Rushford products I have my eye on...

It would be impossible not to notice these beautiful, sculptural flower vases...

 Or this driftwood candelabra...

I've had my eye on similar chargers, but they offer these water hyacinth charges in more colors!

Aren't these little flower blossoms the cutest?

If any of these strike your fancy, head over to Lafayette and Rushford to see more, and don't forget to use DECOR30 at checkout if you decide to treat yourself!

*disclosure: this post is sponsored by Lafayette and Rushford, and I received Caldrea Countertop Cleanser as a sample
