The
Doop-Wop is the re-launch of a lamp that was produced and sold by
Louis Poulsen from the 1950's until the early 80's, when it was removed from their catalogues. It's original name was "Søværnspendlen" or " The Navy Pendant" because it was developed in a cooperation between the Navy Buildings Department and Louis Poulsen. The newer version is very similar to the original product but the colour palette has been update to our times. I think it's gorgeous and very flexible, because it works in any space: from an elegant living room to a child's bedroom.
