Today I'm moving the camera around from where it was in the pic below, so you can see the doorway to the left, and the pelmet above the sliding door.
On top of the pelmet there's three cards I adore. One's just got a lovely pic on it of a little girl with a gorgeous red rose, but the other two have wonderful quotes on them.
Here they are......
I've always loved these quotes, and finding them written on cards with some pretty images attached was a bonus. I used my scrapbooking guillotine to cut the cards in half neatly, and displayed them where I can see them. They're a bit high up, but I know what's on them, and I love the colours in them.... they just suited that spot for an extra burst of happiness!
Now, back to the little sort of 'scroll' on the wall next to the fridge. Such a pertinent quote I think. It's a reminder that we don't have to be perfect at something to have-a-go at it. The enjoyment is in the doing. Sometimes I think we all hold back and worry far too much about what others will think.
'Let it all hang out and have fun' I say!
The other two cards above and below the scroll are from my 'Ultimate Calling' card set (featured in Part 2 - A Door Of Inspiration), and they say 'Be Inspired', and 'Be An Example Of Inner Peace'!
I think I manage fairly well at the first one, and I'm still trying to get better at the second one - lol!
So, there you have it! A few more of my favourite quotes and phrases stuck around my kitchen (blu- tac is my favourite decorating tool!).
There's a couple more to go at the very end of the kitchen next week, and then we'll wander on into the living room for a brief visit.
